8 days away from graduation.
1 day will end 4 years of college.
1 day will end 16 years of being a student.
What will it feel like not be a student? For the last 16 years my life has been going in the same direction with the same goal.
Now that the goal is close to being accomplished it's hard to think about whats next.
For the first time in my life I don't know what is next.
My life has been different chapters, one for each year - a new grade or a new school or a new best friend. By the end of a chapter there was always a clue as to what was coming next.
This book is over.
Now it's time for the sequel.

Another Monday Morning..

Monday, May 10 was my last monday classes of the semester. By this time in the semester I have grown comfortable with my schedule and a Monday is just another Monday. I park in the same glenn garage. Walk the same sidewalk and climb the same steps to get to the same classroom.
The last Monday of classes didn't feel the same.
This was the last Monday of a somebody's life.
Instead of following his typical Monday schedule, a Towson University grad student decided to jump off of the glenn garage.

Too Late to Tiger Fest

2010 Tiger Fest was my last Tiger Fest during my college career at Towson Univeristy. Unfortunately I didn't get to the festival until the main performer was performing his last song.
Tiger Fest is known to be a day of drinking for those students old enough to do so. The price of alcohol in the gates of Tiger Fest is pricey for a college student budget. Therefore students gather at apartments to drink for cheap.
With alcohol involved, getting to Tiger Fest can be an issue.
Luckily Towson University has a free shuttle system that is running during Tiger Fest.
Or maybe not so lucky.
Myself and the group I was with for the festivities headed out to the shuttle stop around 4:00 PM. By 4:30 PM still no shuttle. So we decided to start walking and hopefully see a shuttle on the way.
A shuttle never came into view.
After walking along York Road for some time we finally could hear the concert happening in the distance. When we walked into the gates of Tiger Fest the headlining band, N.E.R.D, were saying their farewells.
It was disappointing after a long walk to realize we were too late to Tiger Fest.
